How time's flying, we left Sydney 7 weeks ago today, it really seems like it's 7 months! I think the reason is that we've done so much since arriving. We have't had one full day of doing nothing yet. Our plan before we left was to have rest days. The weather has been so good it seems a shame not to be out exploring.
Last week, I notched up a rather major milestone by turning 60, it was a plan of ours for a long time that we would be in Paris at this for my birthday.
We embarked on a 5 night cruise down the Seine from Paris to Honfluer, spending 2 nights, at Honfleur, this allowed us time to wander around this old beautiful picturesque port, characterised by its houses with slate-covered frontages.
Before Honfluer, we had a brief stopover in the equally old city of Rouen, where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in front of the cathedral.
Anne & I can’t recommend Croisi Cruises enough, the food and service were excellent, the boat was not overly large, we will cruise again with them at sometime in the future.
