Packing for 9 months is a nightmare what to take for 3 seasons?
Paris is going to be 35 for the first few days, so shorts and tee shirts are a must.
The last 2 days before departure were hectic to say the least.
Lots of last minute jobs that could not be put off.
We arrived in Paris about 24 hours after departing Sydney, with a short layover in Singapore.
Customs at Charles De Gaul Airport is non existent. The trip to our apartment at Bastille was quick, the traffic was much lighter than we had expected.
First impressions are that the crowds are down from previous visits this was confirmed from a cafe owner at Saint Michel.
Anne booked us in to see the James Bond exhibition, it consisted of some 500 items including the DB10 from Skyfall and the classic DB5 from Goldfinger, lots of costumes from various movies.
Photography wise, I am enjoying shooting Paris, mostly in black and white as this city really lends itself to the medium.
Given our petite skills in French we have not encountered any issues as yet, know doubt we will.
